How to Confidently Rock a Bikini

Give me 21 days and I’ll give you the confidence to rock that bikini!

Ladies lets be honest, the majority of us dread wearing a bikini.

I know I did for years. It didn’t matter how much I worked out or how tan I was, somehow I still found myself feeling self-conscious in a bikini.

But then as the big 3-0 started to approach I decided I was determined to rock a bikini loud and proud!

I committed to the below and within 21 days I saw significant results that blew me away.

Now let me preface this by saying prior to this I spent years going to the gym, doing yoga, barre, spin, you name it. Nothing ever gave me the results I wanted.

It wasn’t until I committed to a total lifestyle program that I finally saw the results… and the abs I always wanted. 🤩

My secret recipe:

1. A simplified macros system for portion control.

80% of your results come from your nutrition. It’s a harsh reality to accept because food is delicious! But you don’t have to deprive yourself of food…. I would never do that to you! You’re talking to the girl who has chocolate with just about every meal 🤫

The game-changer  = I had been eating really healthy for about five years before finding this method. I ate whole foods, cut out sugar, and kept my treats in check, but it wasn’t enough.

Even if we eat really healthy, we can still overdo it on healthy foods. Moderation is key. You would be amazed at how many calories are in that salad you ordered for lunch! One restaurant salad is usually enough for 3 meals. Plus our bodies can only use so much of a nutrient at one time - which means even if everything in the salad is healthy, the excess nutrients are converted to glucose… which = fat. Big problem!

The key to fast results is small meals every few hours so you sustain a heightened metabolism and then a healthy balance of 30% lean proteins, 30% healthy fats, and 40% healthy carbs throughout your day.

I’m not saying you have to weigh your foods (unless you’re looking into bikini competitions) but the program I swear by was created by a bikini competitor. She took her competition plan and simplified it for the everyday person.  It’s not a diet, I don’t believe in diets… it’s a lifestyle of moderation for sustained results and peak performance. You’re given a meal plan, recipes, and a simple tracking system to learn proper portion size for transformative results.

2. Effective workouts

The key word here is effective. You can run for miles or spend hours at the gym but if you’re not working different muscle groups, compounding your workouts, or doing workouts that spark muscle confusion you’re limiting your results. Just burning calories isn’t enough for a toned body.

I’ll be honest I’m not a huge fan of working out. It’s more of a mental release for me. It helps me clear my mind, boost my energy and gives me confidence. It’s a non-negotiable pillar in my life. BUT I do not enjoy working out for extended periods of time. My schedule is way too busy for that and there are so many other things I love to do. I commit to getting the best possible results in the shortest amount of time. I’m all about effective, convenient fitness.

My secret weapon is 30-minute workouts 6 days a week with a virtual personal trainer. The workouts focus on a mix of cardio, HIIT, strength/weights, and yoga. We target each muscle group in a particular order to maximize results.

The best part - I do it in my own home so it’s super convenient and gets ahead of that “I don’t have time” excuse.

3. Following a plan and tracking it

The real key to results is having a plan that guides you along step by step, tracks your progress, challenges you, and HOLDS YOU ACCOUNTABLE.

When you have a plan you have actionable steps to follow. You have a road map for success. It’s not hoping that what you are doing will work, it’s knowing you have a concrete plan for results. It’s a game- changer.

4. Making the commitment

You can commit to trying or you can commit to doing. This is a big distinction for all areas of your life.

When you commit to trying you give yourself an out. It’s the equivalent of saying I’ll do it when I feel like it or until it gets too hard. You’re giving yourself an out before you even get started.

When you commit to doing you make a promise to yourself that you will see it through. You let go of the excuses and commit to the necessary work for the results you want.

When you commit to doing you become a force to be reckoned with and you transform your life.

These 4 elements will not only help you get bikini ready, but they will make you feel damn sexy naked too!  I don’t know about you ladies, but there is something so powerful about being able to stand there naked in front of your man and think yup this is all of me, eat your heart out.

I never understood confidence like that until I made these factors part of my life.

Now they are the integral pillars in my lifestyle programs. I even became certified in the nutrition program because I wanted to better help my clients experience the results.
