My Absolute Favorite Superfood Smoothie Recipes

True transformation starts from the inside out. Superfood shakes have helped me not only elevate my own life, but transform hundreds of others. I am all about holistic living, being proactive with your life, and  fueling your mind and body from the inside out. After my first cancer diagnosis I became obsessed with learning as much as I could about ways to be preventative with your health. I always knew it was important to be active and make conscientious food choices for good health, but I never know just how influential foods are on our overall health.

We truly are what we eat. The foods we choose are responsible for our energy, metabolism, cellular makeup, heart, cholesterol, and I could go on.

Not only that, but the foods we eat impact our digestion. Poor digestion leads to a leaky gut which is now being more and more attributed as a leading factor in so so many diseases.

Needless to say, I became obsessed with the healing power of foods, foods that would help me not only stay fit, but would nourish me, help me stay ahead of cancer, and have proper digestion - In come superfoods, adaptogens, and phytonutrients.

Initially, it can be overwhelming trying to get all these nutrients and elements into your day to day, that’s why I fell in love with our daily superfood protein shake.   

I started as as a customer over 5 years ago now and since then these superfood shakes have become an integral part of my day to day, my travels, my physical/mental state, and my business.

Lemon Bar Smoothie

This smoothie uses real lemon juice and grated lemon zest to get the sweet and tangy flavor of a lemon bar.

  • ¾ cup nonfat milk

  • ¼ cup water

  • 2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice

  • 1 scoop Vanilla Shakeology

  • 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp. Of lemon zest

  • 1 cup ice
